Ánodo de óxido metálico mixto para la eliminación electroquímica de amoníaco

Mixed Metal Oxide Anode for Electrochemical Ammonia Removal

Electrochemical processes to remove ammonia from wastewater allow for higher efficiency and a lesser sludge quantity in refractory organic compound degradation. Scientific research found different anode materials affect the removal efficiency of the generation efficiency of strong oxidizers such as hydroxyl radical, the operating cost, and electrode life. Anode materials such as boron-doped diamond (BDD), PbO 2, Sb–SnO 2, as well as other mixed metal oxides (MMOs) have been used for ammonia removal.

UTron had developed an innovative mixed metal oxide anode for electrochemical ammonia removal by thermal decomposition method. The electrocatalytic layers of this mixed metal oxide anode are composed of a mixture of noble and valve metal oxides, such as ruthenium, iridium, platinum, etc. It performs high oxidizability of removal rate of NH 3 -N increases with the amount of NaCl and current density and long service life.
