Platinised Titanium Anode in Tubular Mesh

Platinised titanium anode has been widely applied for electroplating fields since it has more advantages compared with the traditional lead alloy anode. It has no hazards and there is no sludge formed in the electroplating bath. What is more, it has a much longer lifetime than lead anodes and can be replated. Chromic acid dissolves lead creating chromate sludge in the bottom of tanks when the lead anode is applied in the electroplating process and lead is hazardous for not only employees but also the environment. Platinized titanium anode requires no manual maintenance, with no chromate sludge; downtime is eliminated as there is no need to shut down for cleaning for an electroplating bath. It is dimensionally stable and can be fabricated into custom-shaped anodes for precise and uniform plating.
