The EMEW cell generally featured a pair of a pair of concentric tubular electrodes fitted with end cap which form a closed chamber in which the electrolyte is pumped at a high flow rate. The tubular anode generally constructed of titanium with mixed metal oxide coating for high corrosion resistance and insoluble character. UTron had offered Ti base MMO coated tubular anodes for copper electrowinning EMEW cell to their Australia customer.
